H.R. 4646: Debt Free America Act…..To establish a fee on transactions which would eliminate the national debt and replace the income tax on individuals.
Please pass this on to everyone you know… now before the elections… this is wrong… very wrong! If you don’t believe democrats will try to pay their way out of the health care plan by raising taxes think again. The first thing I do when I see an email that says they checked it out on Snopes.com is go check it out on Snopes.com… 99% of the time, they are wrong. Not this time… this really is for real.
When you earn $20,000 dollars and put it in your bank, the government gets 1% or $200 for putting your money in your bank. And if I read this correctly, “establish a fee on transactions” (transactions means both ways) when you then go to the store and use your debit card to buy groceries, you will pay the 1% tax again which means you will give them another $200 over the course of spending your money… that is double indemnity… it is wrong… it is stealing.
This is being done under the guise that it will replace income tax, but the reality is once it is in place, come on, you know damn well they will not eliminate the income tax… they will keep both… and those who do not make very much money will have no choice to but to apply for every Federal Aid program there is to survive… the government will own them.
It is time for a new President and a new Congress… all new. And it is time for term limits for congressman and congresswomen as well as laws that hold them to all of the same standards they apply to us when they pass laws. No more pensions for life when they leave, no more special Health Programs for them… if it is good enough for “we the people” it is good enough for them.
This was the idea of rep Fattah and no one else. It was stirring in the pot since February and never passed anyway.
